Hi Yannick – apologies, I did search for this but unable to find an answer.

Is there a way to display all links, in a continuous list sorted by date, for all categories? (I only have 2 cats)

    I am currently using this:

    [link-library settings="1" linkorderoverride="pubdate"]

which lists 1 cat then the other.

It would also be good to have the search results list to ignore the cats.

Thanks, and keep up the great work! ??

Did you try the option named ‘Combine all results without categories’ under the Links tab of the Library Configuration?

Thanks! That works as required on my search page – all results are listed without being separated into cats.

But this means that I lose my custom css that is targeting the 2 categories on my links page.

So I wonder … is it possible to leave this option unchecked: ‘Combine all results without categories’?(as I now have done) but then to extend the shortcode to ignore the cats ?

Indeed. Not sure how to handle this one. I am leaving today for work travel for this week. I’ll have to think about it more when I’m back in town.

Hi Yannick – do you think this might be possible ? Or should we close this for now?

Sorry about the lack of response. It seems I lost track of your question. I guess what I don’t understand is that if you want to display all of the links together, no matter what category they are from, why would you want to apply different styles to them?

    Aah yes, I understand.

Here is my main links page, and here is my search page.

I use blue/orange bullets for the 2 different cats.

I have no need for the full link list to appear on the search page – anyway to hide that till after a search? Or the way it is now, I would prefer one list of both cats, alpha-sorted together.

Not essential by any means, just a nice-to-have.
