Hello and thanks for this great plugin.

I have added admin fields to the product edit page and also populated it
    with content.

The challenge i’m having is displaying the fields on the product page.
Where i want the fields to be displayed is on the products tabs but from the test
i have done, the fields are not displaying on any area of the product page.

During debugging i saw this output but no content in it:

    <div class="tabs-nav-section" id="tab-wccpf_fields_tab"><style>li.wccpf_fields_tab_tab {display: none !important;}</style>
    </div>

I was also going through your troubleshooting tips on sarkware website, where you have:

For admin fields that you wanted show them on front end product as well make sure you have set the “Show on Product Page” option.

I can’t find the option to show in product page in my WC Fields Factory Options settings.

Please, i will appreciate your kind help.

    Thanks in advance

Hi, that Show on Product Page option is available for admin each fields. if you click on the field it will open Field Configuration Editor right, there you will see that option.

Its not in the Fields Factory Setting page.

Thanks so much for the fast response which was very helpful.

The tabs content now displays as expected.

But the tabs title doesn’t display anything though i added a title text in the tab title option of the admin field group.

I also noticed that if i choose that the admin fields should display in the products tabs, the content of the fields are displayed in two locations: above the products image and in the tabs content.
I have tested on the default twenty twenty-two theme and it’s the same there too.

    Maybe i’m missing something.

    Thanks so much in advance.

Ok, Group level tab title has an issue (the fix coming soon),

In the mean time, in your wp-admin go to Fields Factory -> Settings there find the Fields Location option and choose Product Tab now below it will show product tab config, there you can give tab title.

Once done hit the Save Changes button.

Okay. I did as you instructed in your response above and the
    tab title now shows.

But i also noticed that all the fields(products fields, variations fields, checkout fields and admin fields) are now showing in the same location, which is unusual.

I also noticed that if i choose that the admin fields should display in the products tabs, the content of the fields are displayed in two locations: above the products image and in the tabs content.
I have tested on the default twenty twenty-two theme and it’s the same there too.

I guess there’s some conflict in the output code and will gladly await the fix.

I really appreciate you help and best wishes.

Hi, I assumed you have only admin fields.

Now you can safely change the fields Location back to Before Add To Cart Button in the Settings page.

If it is possible pls share the product page url, so that I could test it.

    Thanks for your assistance.

After i changed the fields location back to

    Before Add To Cart Button

, the tabs title now displays.

I believe a permanent solution will be found to the bug soon.

I’m currently working on my local machine.

    Thanks a lot.

    Hello Sark,

Greetings and trust my message meets you well.
I once more appreciate you for your great plugin and support.

    1. The issue i had with the tabs title not displaying on the single products tabs has come up again after i thought it has been solved with your last update.

I also noticed that the option to enter a custom title for each tab group is no longer displaying if i choose to display the Admin custom fields group in the product tab area.

    see the screenshot below:

    2.

    Second issue

As you can see from the screenshot below:
    https://prnt.sc/tqsQq7bGfrTx
I’m using the plugin to create product specifications, I want to know if there is a way to hide empty fields on the fronend?

    3. I also seek your advice if using the plugin in creating products specification won’t affect the performance?

Many thanks and appreciate your kind help.

@mogeh Sorry for the late response, didn’t notice it.

    1. I realized that group level tab item is difficult to implement, (earlier I had that idea but it can be done through ajax only, which is little diffcult to find a common ground among different themes). pls refer Changlog for V 4.1.3 – I ahve mentioned it there.

    2. Screen shot not found, but I assume your admin field should not be shown on the front end when there is no prefilled data right.? – that can be done, I will add that option.

    3. No it won’t affect the performance – I haven’t had any tested metrics, but the code is simple (wp is already using object caching for custom post types). so we are good.

For number 1, I decided to set a general title for the product tabs in the global settings of the plugin.

Regarding fixing the number 2 issue, I’m highly thankful for the
    expected solution.

    I appreciate!
