How to display a circle instead of a pin on Google Maps

That would require some custom coding. Roughly what you’d need to do is run a jQuery function on the map load that replaces the standard icon for a custom one.

I’m not sure you can show an approximate position on the map. You’d need to read the Google Map API documentation to see if that can be done.
