• I have a pdf file that I’d like to link to, or somehow display from a page.Trouble is, the pdf is 130MB large. What is a good way to handle this?

I tried sharing it from my Dropbox and linking to the Dropbox code, but when I tested, Dropbox wanted me to sign in first. I don’t want my readers to have to do that. Is One Drive or Google Docs any better?

    Suggestions? Thank you.

  • Most of those services allow you to share a file publicly, which won’t make you login. However, you have to manually enable this for the file. In Google drive, for example, it’s in the “Share” settings somewhere.

Any reason why you can’t just upload it to your webserver and link to it from within a post? Do you not want your server to have to transfer the file?

The correct answer here is to ask the creator of the HUGE file to provide one that can be used on the web.
