How to dislpay posts from ‘current’ subcategory

    Hello! I use [display-posts taxonomy=”category” tax_term=”current”] shortcode, but it works only if used on parent category archive page. On child category it displays nothing. Can I do something about this?

    That shortcode is not designed to be used on archive pages. It’s designed for the single post view, to list posts in the same category as the current one.

    It grabs a list of all the categories attached to the current post (see here).

    If you’re using it outside the context of the content area of a single post, the $post object may not be set, and therefore it won’t find any categories attached to that post.
