How to disabled nested comments from a plugin

  • Is there a way to get rid of comment reply (nested comments) from a plugin?

    In other words I don’t want to disable nested comments globally, but I do want to disable them on certain pages..

    Anybody have any ides on what action or filter should I use for wordpress 3.0 ?

    Does anyone know? I just want to turn off the ability to turn reply to comments to certain pages.. I just want the ability for one comment, no reply to the commented allowed. I don’t want to turn off the entire site.. just a selected page.

    I could really use some help.
