How to disable username in registration form

    hello, I have been trying to disable the username field on registration form but I can’t manage to get rid off it,any guide please is highly appreciated.

    I hope you’re doing good today!

    The username field is required, and that’s why it can’t be empty.

    However, a potential workaround might be to hide the field, and automatically use the email address as the user name.

    Please let us know if that would work for you, so that we can check with the developers if it’s possible to implement with a custom PHP code snippet.

    Hello @kamaunyaga,

    Could you please try the following:

    1. Remove the Username field from the form.

    2. In User Registration section map Username meta key to the email field: https://prnt.sc/bMkKwDrxMAew
