There is an option in other Gutenberg plugins which are able to disable the blocks which aren’t of use. I know there is an option from block editor’s options but I want to disable them from the plugin. This will help me to disable unused CSS and js too.

Do CSS and js load if I disable blocks from Gutenberg editor. I ask this because I’ve seen CSS and js loading on all the pages for which I use Gutenberg.

  • Hello Sujal,

We have a minified CSS file. So those do not add any significant effect to the page size. You can also use caching plugins to make your sites faster.

We have tested with several starter packs and ready sections using Astra, Storefront, Twenty Twenty and many other famous themes. All of them had very good scores in Pingdom and Google Insights.
