How to Disable Theme Lightbox

Hello, yes, via Theme Panel > Scripts & Styles, you can disable every scripts and styles you don’t want.

I tried disabling the lightbox in the Scripts & Styles section, but it messes up the entire layout of my site.

Hi, is your “uploads” folder writable? When you click the button on the Scripts & Styles admin page, it automatically generates a JS and/or a CSS file in “uploads/oceanwp/”, so if this folder is not writable your site will look weird because no JS and CSS will be loaded.

Permissions are set to 755.

That is not the case. Files can be written to.

If I FTP into my server, I see a folder titled “oceanwp” was created in my “uploads” folder. I assume that means it is writable otherwise that folder would not have been created.

As a workaround, is there some code you can provide that I could add to that “oceanwp” folder that would disable the theme’s lightbox?

Hi, do you have a css and js file in this folder?
If so, its files are probably empty. There is no code I can provide, its two files are generated automatically when you click the Save Changes button on the Scripts & Styles page. If this does not work, you need to see with your web host because I can not do anything at your server.
Maybe your host will give you a solution that I could implement in the plugin for it to work.

There aren’t any files within the “oceanwp” folder.

I also tried to disable scripts & styles on another website which is on a different host and had the same issue.
