How to disable the PayPal credit card ad?

From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > PayPal > Standard Payments (middle tab).

Scroll down the settings to enable/disable PayPal buttons and any ‘Pay Later Messaging’

You can toggle those settings for cart, checkout and single product pages.

For the single product pages you’re referring to, scroll to Single Product Page Buttons

Below that you will see a subheading that reads Pay Later messaging on Single Product Page and you should be able to enable or disable the messaging by using the toggle box.

For merchants from supported regions, the Pay Later Messaging is enabled by default.
You can control the visibility of the messaging and the Pay Later button from the new Pay Later tab that was introduced in the latest update 2.0: https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-paypal-payments/#pay-later-messaging-config

@npmcgrew Thanks for helping out. In case you haven’t seen it yet, the Pay Later configuration has been revamped in the latest update 2.0 to be more intuitive and declutter the Standard Payments tab a bit.
More UI improvements to clean up the Standard Payments tab will follow sometime after the holidays.
