How to disable the cron job : inpsyde_phone-home_checkin

    Please install WP Control plugin and then go to Tools -> Cron Events -> then delete inpsyde_phone-home_checkin.

    Hi,

    It’s not working (I already try that). Message from WP control : Failed to the delete the cron event inpsyde_phone-home_checkin.

    Seems that the cron job is always running “now” and so we can’t delete it…

    Why no option in the interface ?

    actually, that cron does not affect your site performance and it’s run every about two weeks, not sure why you want to remove it :/

    Hi,

    This is a GDPR requirement to know what’s going on with the user’s data in our website DB. If you change what this plugin is doing, then we will not respect the law anymore. Our company require a total controle and is accountabled here.

    Basically, I don’t understand why I can’t disable this plugin/cron that is sending website’s data to you. This is also not GDPR compatible on your side….

    But I will reinstall wordpress and disable by default. That’s a lot of work for one cron. I will remember that.
