How to Disable Tags Suggestions on New Post Page

Hello, I suspect that your plugin does not do what I want, so let me explain what I want to do, and see if you can help me.

What I want to do is turn off/disable the tags suggestion feature that is found on the new post page. I am talking about the field where you type in the tags you want associated with your new post.

Whenever I start typing in tags for my new post, the progress wheel in that tags field starts spinning and slows me down from adding in my tags. I find this very annoying.

I looked here on the WordPress plugins site for a plugin that might disable tags suggestions, but all of the plugins I found here are two or three years old, or older, which, of course, WordPress suggests that we don’t use.

Do you know of a plugin that is currently still being developed and supported, which will allow me to disable tags suggestions in that field?

Or, is there some simple way that I can disable tags suggestions in one of my blog’s PHP files?
