How to disable Search Box & Enter search term box

Check your widgets in the Appearance tab of your dashboard, if the search option is there remove it. Look at sidebar or right sidebar.

Thank you very much for this observation Questas_admin! I didn’t check this section – it had some default stuff including search altogether nothing I wanted so I removed it all. This area now looks like the below screenshot though the issue persists!

When pressing F12 to get into a firebug similar tool to inspect the code I dont actually see any area in google chrome’s main browser highlight the search areas it just goes over the navigation bar.
