How to disable popup trigger

    Actually, I don’t want to suppress popups. I want to disable whatever it is that is suppressing popups the page that I “need help with”.

    There is button in the footer labelled “Google Reviews”. On most other pages it will popup when clicked. On this page it will not. Actually, the pages it will not popup on, are “Course” pages. This type of page contains a table of the course lessona,

    I would really appreciate some help. Thanks ??

    For the popup named ‘Google Reviews’, change the link from an <input> element to either an opening and closing <a> tag or a <button> element.

    Hi yogaman5020, thanks for responding …

    Actually, the ‘Google Reviews’ work fine on all pages … except pages with lesson listings. After experimenting a little, I discover that adding the slickquiz shortcut, causes the css class/id trigger to stop working. I am not sure how, but my guess is the slickquiz plugin is catching the click first, and preventing it from propagating.

    Fortunately, I can remove the shortcode.

    Is there any alternative way to click open a popup without leveraging the javascript “click” function?

    Hello @mirgcire:

    Default triggers with the free version of Popup Maker are ‘Auto Open’ and ‘Click Open’.

    Premium (paid) plugin extensions are available for Exit Intent / Exit Prevention; Scroll, and Scheduling.

    Other extensions work off the Auto Open and Click Open triggers.

    If you are unable to pass in Popup Maker classes to set up your click trigger, you can add ‘Extra CSS Selectors’ to the Click Open trigger in order to target any page element to display a popup (see Method #2 in the article link below).
