How to disable link to parent page in menu

Hi,
I am developing a site where I need to disable the link to the parent page when there are child pages below it. I however want to display that title on the menu bar, without that link being accessible.
e.g. – menu contains:
Reports
–Occurrences
–Daily reports
–Weekly reports

Here, I want to disable the link to Reports page, but allow occurrences, daily reports and weekly reports.
How can it be achieved?
