How to disable first name and last name?

I tried disabling first name and last name. It worked fine during the registration, however when i go back to amend some parts in my profile such as bio, it forced me to insert first name and last name even when the fields areq not present in the form.

Even when i add them back and disabled “required fields”, it stil forced me to insert first name and last name, which i dont need it to be featured in my profile.
