By default I use for all my emails the plugin Email Templates. That works great.
But when creating a Newsletter template and send a test I discover a problem.
The header + footer of Email Templates are used within the created Newsletter template. Means I get double header + footer.

    email-templates

Is there a way to manage this?
I can not disable Email Templates plugin it is my standard.
    Regards.

You shiuld ask the author of that plugin how we can set something in the email so it won’t be framed by their header and footer.

I am not an mediator. Therefor I add his address so you can discuss it with them.
If you want to see the result of your code within the default email template then send me an email so I can send the html file to you.
Now newsletter plugin disturbs the default template.

Hi, probably I’ve misundertood the problem. Do you have a plugin which adds something to ALL emails sent by WP?

Yes that is why I mention the plugin including the url to it. See first text above. By default I get a perfect template for ALL emails. The template creates a perfect header – footer – body for all WP emails.

When I start your Newsletter and do a test with a new newsletter template, your template is included within my default template. Means I get 2x header – 2x footer.
That is the issue. Try it by yourself.

I can rewrite code of both plugins but that is not a solution. When updating plugins I loose it all. Somehow Newsletter needs to check or disable other email templates if active. You know the way how to.

If “other” email are sent as plain text of course the template plugin add a frame and they looks good. Newsletter send full formatted email, so we cannot do something if later another plugin add something else. It up to the template plugin to recognize those email are already completely formatted.

So you should report that problem to the template plugin author, we can do nothing to disable their features.

    Stefano.
