How to disable comments globally?

It would be a pity to let the spammers win. Have you tried Andrea’s good advice on this: https://wpmututorials.com/how-to/stopping-spam-comments-sitewide/

There’s also a plugin out there to close comments after X days. Toss that in the mu-plugins folder, and BOOM. comments are closed on all the sites.

We all gotta deal with spam. :-/ Sometimes closing comments is a good idea, sometimes not.

Akismet, Bad Behavior, some good bad word filters in your comments settings, and some prayers can help.
