How to disable commenting?

  • I do not want people to be able to comment on my blog, appleinquirer.com, so how would I disable the commenting? I have another blog gadgetjunkieblog.com, which is running on WordPress 3.1.2, and there is an option to disable commenting on it, but with my new site (running 3.2) there is not an option. How do I do it?

    below the post/page editor, also ‘discussion’ options; if they don’t show, click ‘screen options’ near the top right, and tick ‘discussion, then scroll down again to below the post/page editor.
