Greetings! I am running a very image-heavy website. My Gallery directory has 24GB of images and every day cache files are generated which increases it to 32GB. I have clicked on Nextgen Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous > Clear image cache but that only clears it, it doesn’t prevent it from further caching. How can I prevent the plugin from generating new cache files every day?

Here is a sample page that displays images using Nextgen Gallery: https://courthouses.co/us-states/states-a-g/california/san-francisco-county/

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @webmakerholly ,

Currently, we don’t have an option to turn off gallery cache, I’ve made a note of the feature request and we’ll keep it on our radar to be reviewed as we plan out our roadmap for the future.

Even when cache helps to speed up load times by not having to render images on the fly, I still see a scenario where you would like to have it disabled to save some space if your traffic is not that high.

    Thanks!
