• Hi,

I was told by the plugin support for PDF Embedder that I need to make sure my caching tool doesn’t apply aggregation or inline-JS caching to resolve a “Setting up fake worker failed” error I was having.

Please explain how to disable aggregate/inline caching?

    Many Thanks!

sorry but there is no such feature. you can exclude the url.

    I’m having the same issue.

Adding the files that PDF Embedder suggested to the Exclude section did not resolve it. Actually already had them listed in there before their latest update caused this issue.

I had to disable the JS caching features in WP Fastest Cache. I unchecked “Minify JS”, “Combine JS” and “Combine JS+” and now the embedded PDFs work.

    Hope this helps, @periago

    Thanks @eikiwebmaster,

your post reminded me that I needed to update this thread with the suggestions I received directly from the very helpful PDF Embedder support, follows:-

“Do you have the option in WP Fastest Cache to combine JS enabled https://www.wpfastestcache.com/optimization/combine-js-css-files/?

This sounds very similar to the aggregate / inline JS method mentioned by other caching plugins. If you do have that enabled, can you try unchecking that option.

And as the developer mentioned, you can exclude the PDF Embedder plugin from being cached in the Exclude tab.

Hopefully some of this may help.
