I have a ‘Pending’ user role that I want to have access to only one page, their account page.

I have a ‘Subscriber’ user role that I want to have access to everything, including the one page that pending users can access.

On my site, I have tag archives, category archives, date archives, a blog posts page, and single blog posts. All of these things need to be hidden from pending users.

How do I make that work? Does this plugin do that?

Seems like this plugin only works for pages.

That is indeed possible with this plugin.

Create a new Access Level, Pending Level:
Add the 1 page as a condition
Synchronize the level with the Pending user role

    Create another level, Subscriber Level:
Add all the content you don’t want users without this level to access
    Synchronize with Subscriber role
    Extend the Pending Level

Now users in the pending level (and users without any level at all) will not be able to access the content restricted in the Subscriber Level.

Individual restricted items will not be hidden from archives, widgets, custom lists, etc. but if you plan on restricting category, blog, and date archives, that shouldn’t be a problem. You can hide nav menu items.

    I hope this helps!

That was the first thing I tired and it didn’t work.

I’ve moved on to a different plugin.

    Thank you for your help.

    Which one ?

Registration magic. It’s completely different but it does more of what I originally needed.
