How to disable 2FA

    How can I disable 2 factor authentication in Sucuri dashboard? I’ve tried deleting the plugin folder in cPanel file manager and 2FA still persists. I don’t see any entries in wp-config.php or files in the root directory of the website… what am I missing?

    I need to disable 2FA or change it to SMS text or authenticator app, so I can reconfigure a non-working smtp email plugin, but since the email plugin isn’t working correctly, I can’t receive 2FA notifications by email.

    I do not see a setting anywhere in the Sucuri settings to enable or disable 2FA and I cannot find any reference to it online, other than logging into a sucuri account. This is the free version of the plugin, I don’t think it requires an account, does it?
