• I don’t understand the concept of “attaching” images to a post after they are uploaded, and furthermore am not sure how to determine where the photo is located (above the title, below the title, in the body etc) once its attached.

    For some reason they are always showing up ABOVE the title of my articles (posts).

  • “Attached” means that the image was uploaded whilst creating/editing a given post. An attached image is effectively treated as a child of its post and will be included in any gallery for that post.

    The images you references on that page are being placed there by your theme. My guess is that your theme simply displays the first image that was uploaded (attached) to a given post in its category listings. You cannot alter the placement without amending 1 or more of the theme’s template files.

    Thanks esmi. We took this site over when it was 75% finished, and it looks as if the original developers must have tinkered with the code a little bit. I will have to look into it.
