How to Delete “Uncategorized”?

    How do I make another category the default?

    once you have created the new category, go to your WP SETTINGS>>WRITING>> and there you will find a dropdown menu titled “Default Post Category”..select new category and save.

    Just curious why you want to delete the category..if I may ask?

    Thanks. I was looking all over the Categories settings, but that would make too much sense I guess.
