• Recently I deleted some posts in my blog, which contains an RSS feed. However, the posts still appear in my RSS feed.

I’m wondering how to clear these posts so they don’t appear in my RSS feed.

I downloaded and activated the “WP RSS Cache Flusher” but nothing seems to have changed thus far.

    Thanks,

The feed is dynamically generated every time it’s accessed, so if a post is removed from the blog, it’s also removed from the feed.

More than likely, your feed reader is caching the posts. To be sure, try viewing your feed in a different reader.

So is there a way to clear the cache on the posts?

I unsubscribed from my feed and subscribed again, but the posts still appear.

There’s no cache to clear, unless you’re using a caching plugin. If you’re using a caching plugin, then you should definitely clear the cache.

Sometimes, unsubscribing from a feed does not clear the reader’s cache, especially if you use a web-based feed reader like Google Reader.
