How to delete plugin without breaking theme

I have recently tried using WP Social SEO Booster and since installing it I am unable to insert images.

I know the developer is onto this issue but I am unable to deactivate or delete this plugin without a major issue.

When I deactivate the plugin to insert images into a post the styling of the website theme is lost. This also happens when the plugin has been deleted. I have ticked the option to delete options from the database.

Any pointers on where to look to try and sort this.
