How to delete orphan subdomans and their files/folders manually?

    I have deleted subsites using the gui but some still remain in the directory. Can I just delete the subsite folders from the directory?

    They are very old Multisites. The admin network menu links do not always go to the correct subsite. It’s a mess. I’ve added/deleted subsites and I’ve changed subdomain structure back and forth between toni-esl.com/* and *.toni-esl.com.

    Any advice, link, or information is appreciated.
