• Exports are leaving large files in wp-content/uploads/wp-migrate-db/ folder. How can these be safely deleted? Is there a way with the plugin, or do they need to be manually deleted on the server?

WP Migrate Support Team here. Thanks for reaching out with your query, we would be happy to assist!

The wp-migrate-db directory is also used by the Backup Database feature of WP Migrate Lite. If you are sure you no longer need some of the files, you can delete them directly from the folder.

I just came across this concern as well. It would be really helpful if there was a way to see previous backups from WP Migrate’s settings page. It would allow us to:

    • Delete old exports more easily without going through FTP/file management each time.
    • Download an existing backup instead of creating a new one each time.

    Hi Kevin,

The Backups feature is available on the Pro version of WP Migrate.

If you like to use that feature, we recommend upgrading to the Pro version.
