how to delete extra space between slider and footer

  • I downloaded the demo version of Albar WordPress theme.

    I would like to get rid of the space in between the slider and the footer on the homepage. It does not show on the other pages of the website. Is this because it is the free version? Am I able to take it out if I purchase the theme? Is this a place for a description text for my website? If so, how can I place text in this area?
