How to delete "code" under post title

This code generates a link to edit the Post when you are logged as admin/editor, it is safe to remove it ??

Code is located in wp-content/themes/evolve/index.php

did you delete the whole index.php file?

Search for edit_post_link into the file, because it is on multiple places.

Or you can use following CSS to hide the links:

.edit-post {
 display: none;
}

I tried the “display: none” option and it did not remove this line for me. I am using evolve 3.4.4. Any other ideas?
