How to delete 'categories' & 'Links' part of the pages?

Hello,
I’m using the theme – BeautySalon2col by Artisteer_generated theme and it has ‘categories’ & ‘Links’ in the pages I need to delete. I tried to go to the Dashboard – Widgets and Inactive these parts but it didn’t work. Please help. Thank you.
