How to define variables / variable content?

    Hello Community,
    a quick question: is there a way out there (a WP hack or a plugin) to define variables (e.g. current interest rates) that can be loaded into WP?

    A place in your admin to store those items and callback them into posts: if you’ve 3 posts containing the same variable, you’ll have to edit the variable and not the content of every single post.
