How to deactive editor or escape text from wp default parser?

  • I’m having a very annoying problem right now where the visual editor is cutting the source code I post.

    I’m using highlight.js its uses is that when i do

    html: pre code SOURCE CODE /code /pre

    it will highlight the syntax, it does highlight pretty nice but the problem is when I’m saving my post, the view post trims a lot of things

    Is there a way to escape text from parsing using some sort of shortcode?

  • You can stop the Visual Editor from loading by going to “Users > Your Profile” and checking “Disable the visual editor when writing.”

    I did that.. I managed to get most of it working but noticed a weird behavior …, still checking
