How to customize the first section?

You can customize the Big Title section, and all other sections from Appearance > Customizer in your WordPress dashboard. It’s pretty easy. ??

I know that i can customize the Big Title section from Appearance > Customizer, but this way it quiete limited.

I would like to customize it from the “engine”, I mean the style.css file.

What in it do you want to customizer? Fonts or what? You can only customize stylesheet from the style.css file. ??

I would like to have a background picture not fix. I mean that when you scroll down, the picture should also move up….an visual example is better than a long speech:

Look at this theme,

you can see that the photo of the city “follows” the text. For example le letter P of “profile” is always located at the beginning of the bridge.

You can set that in the customizer. Scroll or fixed option.

I did try it but it does not work. I think the problem is the picture is the background image of the template and not the background image of the section. I don’t know how to manage it?

Which section? As far as I know you can only set a background picture which you can see in the big intro and contact form sections which are transparent. Others are white. With some php knowledge you could do that as well, maybe somebody can help?

You can add the following CSS to your WordPress, using Simple Custom CSS plugin, to make this happen:

body.custom-background {
    background-attachment: scroll !important;
}
