How to customize submenu’s position?

Hi there,

thanks for the Raft theme. Even though I’m not at all an expert, slowly but steadily I’m obtaining good results so far.

I have now this issue:

I got a vertical menu and I would like to change the position of the submenu links, having them shifted towards the right as to create a second column, like in the image you will find published on this work-in-progress page of my website, below the page title ‘Properties’:

Aldo I would like to eliminate the border and have the submenu shown just in 1 row.
