How to customize product and category url

    Hi

    I want to change the url of my woocomomerce product and product category. Currently url of product category is mydomain.com/product-category/category-name and product is my-domain.com/product/product-name. But I do not want that. I want it to be such that product category should be mydomain.com/category-name and product url should be mydomain.com/product-name.

    Please tell me that how can I do this. I am looking forward for your response.

    No I do not want that. I have tried that method but it does not worked. If I edit url with the method you have shown then still there will be mydomain.com/product/product-name. But I do not want that. I want it to be mydomain.com/product-name. And similar with the product category.

    Hi there,

    It seems like you want to change the permalinks for your product URLs. In order to change the permalinks, please go to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and make the changes accordingly but this will still not remove the /product/ before the product-name in the URL.

    While it is possible to remove the options via a plugin or custom code, we do not recommend this as the category is included to help with performance and other issues as described here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/removing-product-product-category-or-shop-from-the-urls/.
