Hi, you can add captions to the slides using a custom slideshow template.

Josh, the article you site above adds the slide “title.” Is there a way to get it to put in the slide “caption” instead of the title? For example, is there a function the_caption?
It seems that titles need to be unique, so I am looking for a way to display the same caption underneath two different slides.

    Thanks

The titles don’t need to be unique, they aren’t used for anything besides labeling the slides in the admin, so you are free to use them as captions.

However, if you want the same caption on each slide, I’d probably just add that content right into the template instead of getting the title. Unless you need to change it, then you could create a new slideshow, add a description to that slideshow, and get the slideshow description to use as a caption, then you would have a single piece of content that you could use on all those slides.
