How to customize Latte

Hi,

I’m sorry for bringing back an old topic, but it’s pretty much the same issue.
I am trying Latte in a local installation of WordPress and I can’t make it work in any way. I’ve already set up a static homepage with the Homepage template, icluded some widgets, and nothing works – all I got is a blank page and the customizer keeps showing no additional settings but the old “Title & description”, “Colors”, “Header Image” and so on…
Any help on fixing this would be appreciated…

It’s just… a plain blank page… Now I opened the home page again and suddenly, site is showing with the theme right in place…
And all the theme options on Customizer ar showing too!

It was like a page refresh and ta-da! It’s all there! Why does this only happen when I stop banging my head on the wall and ask for help??

It happens quite often with me too. And it’s almost always a cache issue. Anyway, glad to know that it’s working properly now. ??

Hi there! First of all, I love the latte theme, and I’m so glad that you created it!
I have just 2 questions I’m hoping to hear back from you about, as I have scoured the internet, and I can’t figure it out on my own.

1- I’d like to eliminate the page names on the actual page. for instance, on the home page, it says “And here we are…” – I don’t want anything written there on any pages. What change can I make?

2- how can I change what is written in the footer?

1. Could you give be the link to the site? I can’t understand where it says that.

2. It’s not possible to change that in the free version. If you wanna change that then please consider getting the Pro version of the theme: https://www.hardeepasrani.com/portfolio/latte/
