Hello, I am trying to make a website which is using the Astra (non – pro) as the theme. The theme provides default header layout where the navigation menu consists of pages, search bar and other widgets (mine is only having a list pages and search bar). Now the issue here is that, as I add a new page for the website using the Worpress dashboard, the list of pages of the navigation menu gets extended by the newly added page. But, here I want the three specfic pages that I have already created to be only there.
Here’s a snapshot of the right upper corner of the website.
I just want to prevent the website form extending the list of pages of the navigation menu as I add new page(s).

PS : I am a beginner in WordPress. It would be really helpful if someone can guide me to solve this problem.

    Thank you for reading.

Well, I got this solved. Just had to create a new menu having the three specific page sections and search bar and also the option to auto add page section disabled.

Hi, I’ve got the astra starter sites theme and I want to delete the ‘call to action’ button. I did manage to change it to my contact page but that seemed to only work on the customize page. On the actual site, it still has the ‘call to action’ button. How do I delete it?

    Hi @followesem ,

Are you having a call to action on the header? If yes, then please check the customizer setting for disabling the call to action button from the header. Here is the screenshot that might help you.

If still, you find it difficult, then do share your site URL where we can see your issue.

    Hi Deepak,

Thanks, I did already check the none option for the last item in the menu. The strange thing is that the button doesn’t show up in the customize view but it does show up on my website itself. My site is emmafollowes.com. Any more advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Emma

    Hello @followesem

If the option is disabled you should not see the button on the frontend.

Can you try clearing any cache to see if the issue still persists?

How to add a top menu for astra theme

    Hello @sophiating2

I am not sure if you are unable to assign a Top Menu using the Astra theme.

You should be able to do so from the Customizer or from the WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Menus.

    I hope that helps.

    Regards,
    Suman
