    Hello,

    I’m currently running a Woo store selling digital downloads, let’s call it Site A. And I’m in the process of creating a second website running on Woo but for courses.

    For branding and future proofing reasons we can’t run the courses under the same shop that sells the digital downloads. Since the customers will be the same as the topics are related, it seems like a long way about to force them to register in two sites with separate accounts and manage their orders separately.

    More importantly though, it’s a huge missed opportunity in being able to cross sell these products during the checkout process as they’ll be in two separate shops.

    My question then is;

    – Is there a way to cross sell products from two separate shops under the same checkout process/transaction?
    – Alternatively, is there a way for both sites to run on a single database/wordpress installation that’ll allow them to keep the same account and use the same woocommerce shop?

    Essentially I just need to keep the domains/themes separate, but I’d like to make the installations of Woo as fluid as possible.

    What would be the best way around this?

    Thank you.

    Hi @soprano,

    You can cross sell between the two sites using External/Affiliate products in both sites to link to the respective products in the opposite site.

    If you had both sites in a single WordPress multisite installation then each customer would have one user account.

    While it would be possible to accomplish this with custom code, WooCommerce is not designed for this.
