How to created a secondary blog/blogroll

  • Hi,

    I am trying to create a secondary blog on my site and I just can’t seem to figure out how to make it look normal. Currently, I created a page & category and added to 2 post to it, however – two things are happening.

    1. it has that “category: My Ramblings” box at the top of the post. How do I remove this?

    2. what do I have to do to NOT have those post show up in my regular feed?

  • The Blog In Blog plugin will let you assign a category to a Page and also exclude the category from the main blog page.

    After I install in, what should I do? I went to categories and I didn’t see any different options.

    See the instructions under ‘Installation’ on the plugin page, and the plugin options under Admin->Settings->Blog In Blog.

    However, I don’t think I am doing something right… I have two published post that is not showing up. Is it supposed to? Or does this ONLY applies to new post?

    Also,

    For the: Category_slug=’what goes here?’

    It applies to all posts having the correct Category.

    To find the slug, go to Admin->Posts->Categories, and find the slug of the category you want to show on the Page.

    Okay, for the most part – I think i got it. Is this how is suppose to look? https://michelleshotdeals.com/kids/

    I have about 64 post in this category, I don’t see the rest… How do I remove the Gravatar icon?
