Public rooms are loaded in xml format from that file vc_rooms.php.
Sample entries are already there.

Ps:
Tweaking the file above is only required to change the public rooms.
Landing room can be changed from plugin settings.

Each user and buddypress group can access own custom room with that name – it shows as custom room in application and widget room list (when somebody is online there).
