How to create Super Admin role.

    Help!

    I’ve done a ton of searches but all I can find is what privileges a super admin has, not specifically how to create a super admin. (Already checked codex.) I own my site and have not yet defined a subdomain.

    Also, once I am able to create a super admin role will the My Sites – Network Admin tab be available on the toolbar?

    Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Sure. Go to the network dashboard -> Users

    Click on the user you want to make super admin

    On that page is a checkbox to make them super admin. Do it.

    And yes, they’ll have “My Sites – Network Admin” once you do that.

    Well then you’re not using Multisite OR you’re not the super admin, so YOU can’t unless you edit the DB.

    Solved.

    All I had to do is add define(‘WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE’, true); to wp-config.php
