How to create new Catagory?

  • I’m trying to create a new Catagory to organize my images, but I can’t seem to find an option to do so anywhere.
    I’ve read the documentation on the website which says:

    Making a Category
    In the edit catalog item form, under the categories sub-panel, enter a category name in the field to the left of the new button and then click the new button. After the new category is created and loaded it will appear in a checkbox list above, your new category should already be checked. Click the “Save” button at the bottom of the form and your catalog item is now in a category.

    But where exactly is the “edit catalog item form, under the categories sub-panel” located? I cannot find it.

    Thanks for the fast reply.
    I’ve read through the tutorial, but I am having difficulties at step 10: I cannot find that block called “Categories”. Where is this particular screenshot taken? Is it when creating a new post?

    Hi freek1337, remember you uploaded new images to CataBlog. Then if you click on Library to view your images added. On the right hand side towards the bottom you will see Categories. Just follow step 10 to add new categories.

    Hmm, when I’m in my Library, I do not see it at the right han side towards the bottom. Is it maybe a bug/incompatibility with WordPress version: 3.6.1 ?
