• Hi,

    I’ve been studying woocommerce docs trying to figure out how to;

    Create two shipping zones / countries to sell to
    and
    For each country, have a flat rate shipping fee and free shipping for orders above a certain amount.

    The latest docs state to use ‘Shipping Zones’ but having followed the instructions, testing orders on the front of the site by using different countries for the address does not affect the shipping rate at all.

    Neither does changing the order amount threshold for free shipping and paid.

    Would anyone know how to create different shipping rates depending on where the order is shipped to, and also how to apply free shipping if an order is above a certain amount?

    Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

    This still isn’t working at all. I’ve tried the Flexible Shipping plugin and followed the tutorials, I have two countries/ shipping zones set up that delivery is available for (UK & Ireland). However, on the front of the website, when you add an item to the cart and checkout it makes no difference to shipping costs no matter what address you put in, be it Ireland or the UK. The checkout page only uses the shipping zone that appears at the top of the list in admin (woocommerce settings > shipping zones).

    So for example, in admin > woocommerce settings > shipping zones, there is two shipping zones listed, UK & Ireland. These can be drag and dropped to re-order for some reason, and only the shipping zone which appears first at the top is the one that’s used on the front of the website.

    Mind bending! Also, setting free shipping when someone spends over €50 for example doesn’t work either. Changing the order value makes no difference to the shipping cost at all. If anyone out there has any suggestions or pointers it would be greatly appreciated. As it stands, without being able to ship products, the website is completely useless. Thanks in advance for any help!
