How to create custom filters in widgets?

I have searched the documentation but could not find the right answer. I would like to create custom filters for specific tags or categories. I have tried a shortcode in a text widget as follows:

[woof is_ajax=1 taxonomies=product_cat:110]

Unfortunately, this creates the same filter group as the standard filter widget.

I am missing something, I guess.
