How to create category and subcategory from API

    That’s not a core WP API. The core API routes have the form example.com/wp-json/wp/v2/categories. I recommend asking through the dedicated support channel of what ever theme or plugin that is establishing that route you’re using.

    is there any way doing the same while creating a new post with api ?
