how to create archives page on K2 theme

    I downloaded the K2 theme and there is a page called page-archives.php but i don’t know how i should activate it. I have put my own main menu manually and need to create or activate this archives page then write its link in the menu section. can you help me out please to activate the archives page. what should i need to do?
