How to create an Image slideshow within Post using image uploader

Hi there,

I’m searching for an easy way to present images in a simple slideshow within a single post, using images uploaded to that post with WP’s image upload tool.

I made a simple sketch of what I’m looking for here.

• I’d prefer it not be in Flash, but am not totally against either.
• Once installed, I’d rather not have to touch anything outside of the “New Post” screen each time I post.
• First photo would show full-size within the post, other photos available via pagination-like nav below, without leaving the post
• Captions using WP’s image upload description or title field would be nice.

I imagine this would be easy to write in PHP, but I don’t know a stitch. Is there an existing plugin that would do the trick?
